Square 23 of 25 of the Traveling Afghan is essentially another story knitted into a collection of handmade tales. This project has traveled the world and gaining new chapters with each additional square. It doesn’t stop there. There is also a crochet version of the Traveling Afghan going around and it’s on its final lap. You can set yourself up with a kit of the crochet version or the knit version with all the materials needed while following along with all the makers involved, and or create their square, or your own squares! Head on over to Lion Brand Yarn and Alexandra of Two of Wands for the kit and all the details of each maker. You can also see this information on my blog post with the free pattern written out. Have fun knitting up this free 10″ x 10″ square and be sure to make your own story passing this afghan down from generation to generation.
